Daily Diary
October 28th
Dear Diary,
One of the most difficult things is keeping your interest in the old things you had when you get new ones — it applies for people, too. You struggle with inconsistency and divided attention until partiality sets in and you have to focus more on one thing than the other. For things, it could be your dreams or projects and they don’t have feelings. But once you try it on humans, they become resentful and vengeful. They don’t understand why they are no longer the center of your attention and/or affection. So how can one keep up with old ideas, things and people when the new ones come, such that they don’t look like they’ve been abandoned or forgotten?
Yesterday was another reminder that though we live in a patriarchal society, it is still a woman’s world. And so, she doesn’t even know.it, but she rules. Another reminder that men are respected only when they make it and if you find someone who is ready to roll with you in your days of misery, you should cherish them and not forget them when you finally make it.
