Dear Diary,

Sometimes, it feels like things are getting better meanwhile we’re just getting used to. And while we get used to, we get stronger too. So the things that once used to make use quiver and seek to waiver, are now but little inconveniences. But the bad thing about getting used to bad situations is that you get comfortable with the status quo. Whatever the case may be, we always need to look forward to the next level — I know it sounds contradictory because I always say not to focus on the next best thing, but we can’t live our lives only with the last best things. What I’m saying is that, even though it pains and it hurts, when it’s time to move on, we have but one option — to move on.

Yesterday, I discovered that every single person has an individual battle to fight and sometimes, these battles seem so huge that we often forget to fight the other battles that are expected of us as citizens of the earth. And so, we let these tiny battles run us down and then we are the missing piles of dominoes that stop the domino effect therefore preventing the great power surge that our collective efforts would’ve triggered in the universe.

CHRONICLE 13

I lost my tongue -

To grumble about their wrongs.

So as they carried on with their torts,

I carried on with my work.

Back then I would’ve fought

But it seems too tough

To sing this song -

I lost my tongue

Dear Diary, keep my thoughts as secret as news can be…
