Dear Diary,

There are a lot of things I would’ve loved to tell you but even in our intimacy, I fear for what the outcome of this confidentiality might be. So, I am not being totally honest or open with you. Don’t get mad at me for not trusting you with my truths.

Yesterday, I wrote a love song — Stuck on You

Baby it’s true, you make me feel brand new.

Yesterday, the rains didn’t want to stop falling. And in all that cold, thoughts kept popping up — the number of people fornicating with cold weather as an excuse. Yesterday was so cold that I thought there wouldn’t be a colder day this season.

But today, the cold was even wilder… Today’s weather hampered our plans to go to the farm and it’s after long introspection that I finally accepted that I was a bit pleased with the outcome of it. After all, I really don’t like these chores.

Have you ever had an unplanned day? How boring it is. You basically move from one distraction to the other and end up tired from a lot of trivialities that could be avoided if you had worked on schedule. But sometimes, even working on schedule is not evident and productive. That’s why you might have a busy and unproductive day or vice versa. But are there lazy and productive days?

In the end, it’s late and I’m tired. There’s only one lesson I relearned today — procrastination is the thief of time.
