Daily Diary
July 29th
Dear Diary,
I woke up today with a bit of anger and a lot of resignation — but somehow, I stumbled on yesterday’s diary and everything started to fall in place. “Tonight, I sleep with a burdened spirit and a frustrated mind. But strangely, I believe things will be better. So if I wake and the day is still gloomy, I will assume I’m just in a bad dream.” And so, I have woken up from my bad dream and though there is no assurance that things will work well immediately, I choose to believe that they will, and to put on a positive spirit while I wait for these beautiful things the universe has promised me.
Do you believe in therapy? It works really well. Apart from the popular forms of therapy like talk, meditation and yoga, do you know that there are many other forms or therapy? Eating, drinking water, taking a cold bath, travelling, sleeping, being with your favorite person, etc My best forms of therapy are sleeping and being with my (new) favorite person.
Today, I learned that it’s necessary to prepare for when the hard times come. We all live life to the fullest and only hope for the good or better days, but what happens when the tempest rages more than it should? What happens to our pseudo faith and enthusiasm? While we seize the day, let’s prepare for when the smiles and joy may go away. Being resilient during the hard times is the greatest thing that can happen to any of us.
Dear Diary, keep my thoughts as secret as news can be…
