Daily Diary 04

Dear Diary,

I’ve been struggling with consistency for the longest time possible now. If they tell people that I’m the person who did 365 poems in 365 days, they won’t believe it. I just can’t go consistently on anything. Somehow, I am broken and this affects the turnout of every single thing that I do. Even the Spanish that I started learning has been on and off.

And strangely, despite these hurdles and laziness and procrastination, I still don’t want to let things be. Something inside of me tells me to keep trying. That and the friends who constantly push me towards being my best self. I thank God for Hedwig because she’s had my back the most these last few months and I couldn’t be less grateful.

So while I might lazy for a bit or get totally demotivated or discouraged, I still find this tiny glimmer of hope that says to me every now and then “You came to conquer”

Wise men gather round a table to choose a ruler
They are the ones they call the kingmakers
Amongst all the qualities they desire,
They say he must be a man ready to conquer
Both his enemies and his supporters.
So they give him a scepter
And he wields all this power
And he goes helter skelter.
