Nonchalant

Too lazy to take action,
We have written our complaints and forwarded them
They now stand boldly on WhatsApp statuses
And Twitter and Facebook aren’t left out
Let our oppressor be silenced by the boldness of our posts.

We have created hashtags
We are signing these petitions
Let the inflictor of pain see this and know this
His days of insolence shall soon cease.

Too lazy to take action
Too busy to have compassion
But our jingly fingers type our disgust.

We shall have no rest today
And yet, the man who causes our unrest walks away.
